Suggestion: News item Word Count

Is there any reason the news search couldn't include a word count on the item returns?brbrIt would help me find the in depth reports I'm looking for if I didn't have to click on every story to manually see how long it was. Or all the services that just pick up the wire story, you could tell cuz say it had 856 words, so you'd see 9 places with a 856 word item and then you might see a 1352 item so you'd want to check out that one first, see what I mean?brbrImage being able to actually sort the returns by word count... that would be so great.brbrbrbrbr

When most stories are simply picked up off the wire and nobody there actually even wrote ANYTHING that has nothing to do with quality. brbrThat was the point I was making actually.brbr*sigh*brbr

I can see what you mean. Having something like a word count would give you one quick method of comparison.
But I don't think it's really practical, to add it as another 'layer' to searches.

I've found that it hasn't taken me too long, though, to recognize a lot of 'sources' that regularly show up
on news searches as having nothing more than the bare-bones wire release for the story.
I was quite happy, then, when Google personalized search started giving the option
to remove specific sites from search results on an individual basis.
It streamlined the process of finding what I wanted, quite a bit.
