Google Web Accelerator

Has anybody tried it/use it? I nearly downloaded it then saw quite a few comments on download.com saying it made the connection slower?

I didn't notice much of a difference, but it didn't make it slower. You probably don't need it. Also read this:

Thanks for the quick reply. Interesting read that article. You're probably right. I have an 8mb connection and can't imagine it THAT much better given that I'm not a download junkie etc. I was just wondering... you know what it's like... see a toy/utility to play with and it grabs your attention.brbrThanks again img src="/richedit/smileys/Happy/21.gif" border="0"
