Keyhole?

http://www.google.com/options/index.html

Go to the bottom, where it says "Google Tools." Notice anything new?

Hmm...

So this is interesting. Quantum search algorithm meets detailed maps of the earth's surface. And a Google service that costs money to end users!

I imagine it's really neat though, being able to look at your house in an arbitrary satellite database. Or scary, depending on how worried you are about people watching you.

And once again, the software is Windows-only. Odd from a company that has special searches just for Linux and BSD.

Opinions? Experiences with the 7-day trial? Predictions of apocalypse? :P

Read about it in the newspaper. It's supposed to be a really powerful satellite mapping system. I gotta try it out.

Wow, I just tried it and it is amazing. I could find my house in Tampa, Florida so easily. I just typed in the address and wallah.
