Help Please -- Using G. Toolbar with IE7 Tabs
I am new to this forum, so if this has already been posted elsewhere, I appologize.
I have upgraded to IE7 in orderto take advantage of its tab feature. I also use the Google Toolbar, Version 4. I would like to take advantage of IE7 tabs when I do a search, by having the search results show up in a new tab in the active copy of IE7. However, I can only cause one of the two situations to occur: the search result replaces the contents of the current tab or the search results start up another copy of IE7. The second option obviously defeats the benefits of a tabbed browser. The first option is just inconvenient and annoying. Any suggestions? |

Thanks for the Firefox recommendation. It is indeed a super browser. Unfortunately, since Microsoft is a client of mine, it is "politically expedient" that I use IE. Oh well. Your suggestion to just open a new tab and then do the search is mildly awkward, but will solve the issue.
Thanks again |
