Google Notebook Icon

I'm not sure in which Forum a question about Google Notebook belongs. It is not clear from the listed forums.

Anyway, I downloaded Notebook and it is in my toolbar under IE. However, every time I open a window the little notebook 'icon' plops down in the middle of the screen and I can't get rid of it other than 'opening' it. This is a pain because (I thought) the purpose of Notebook is to have it available when you want it, as opposed to opening automatically in every screen.

In short, how can I get rid of the automatic and then justhave Notebook stay on my toolbar until I need it?

No help here, I'm just a newbie with more grief. I see you haven't been answered for a month; this is not a good sign.

I don't get an icon at all. Furthermore, right-clicking the mouse does not produce a google menu. And I can't delete the notebook because I can't find it in any of my browsers. Spotlight can't find it. Quicksilver can't find it. My Account does not offer me the option of deleting it.
