now I belive that phroogle used to be used in the google search bar to obtain cracks and serial keys to site that had them etc.... why did they stop allowing people to link to this information.

maybe it was froogle.... darn it help me out here people. what was it that used to allow you to the cracks and key sites?

I don't recall there ever being a way to obtain securtity keys, doesnt seem at all like google to me...

bosko is right. phroogle did exist for a short period of time between Sept 03 (or maybe earlier??) to Apr. 04 (or maybe later) :

but I don't think it ever had anything to do with Google company. maybe it's site looked like google home page, but that's all.

it was never a google project as far as I can tell:

Phroogle was never associated with Google at ALL, it was an illegal serial website, it was shut down.
