Can't turn off image search strict safesearch

Hi...no matter what I do I can't turn off image search strict safesearch. Whether I turn it off or change it to moderate in preferences or advanced image search. Same in Firefox and Opera, OS X and Win XP.

Any suggestions?

if symptoms persist.. consult google: Web Search Help Center...

I had a similar problem. Doing an advanced search allowed me to search with filter off or strict but didn't change the setting for all future searches. Hope this helps.

Clear your temporary folders then try it.

I've gone into Internet Options countless times and deleted all - this has had no effect.
