Pull-down menu in Google Translate

The home page of Google Translate has a pull down menu with which you select the from/to languages. On my PC it defaults to "Spanish to English" but I would like to know if there is any way to force it to default to another option. I most commonly use German to English so I would want that to be the default. Many thanks.
