Does Google have a forum offering, or the like?

Long-time gmail user here who recently began exploring the many offerings of Google; and I'm just amazed! I need some guidance though, and I hope I can receive it here...

I started my first blog a little over a week ago, on Blogger of course, and I'm pleasantly surprised with the audience it has attracted thus far.

While I have provided a lot of original content already which is being well-received, the aim was for users to participate with responses as well so as to add to the knowledge base. As I'm starting to learn, I'm not so sure a blog is the best tool for this though. I've received comments, but folks can't edit them if there's a typo and can't contact each other through private means, like here. And most importantly the structure is not the best for the organization of information...

Does Google have an offering where its users can create their own forum?

If not, where might I go to create a forum, or if you know of something else besides a forum, please share. I appreciate the help! Tony

I'm not aware of google offering a forum service, but setting up your own forum isn't tough or that expensive, many hosts nowadays offer auto setup feature.

MeKnows, I did just that... Downloaded some free software, downoaded a free FTP client and secured some free webspace... Was a quite a bit of work, and still not done. Thanks.
