Google will provide free antivirus software

It was said by WallStree Journal.
I update my system ASAP,so I do not use any antivirus software, but microsoft's antispyware.
I hope it will be true.

Viruses don't always exploit known (and patched) security vulnerabilities. I think antivirus software is a must for any Windows computer.

Maybe, but most systems are attacked by worms, adwares and trojan ,but not the file-affected-viruses. Most antivirus software are resource gluttons which can cause many system or software problem and slow down your computer.
Use antivirus soft or not is your option, if you have may windows using experience you may choose no, but install the patches is must.

Personally I dont see how this is in Google's strategy of making all information searchable, or along them lines. Even though, I still wouldnt say no to it, its like I need to have every Google product avialable on my computer :S
