Picaso - Am I on my known with this problem
Picaso as a photo editor works fine. I'd like to use it, but......
I do NOT want it reshuffling my 20,000 image library which lives in a master directory with a LOT of sub-directories. I might have, maybe 600 files all called img_001.jpg. Is there any way I can open a file, edit it, 'save as' just like I currently do using 'Photoshop'? I just don't need a new type of filing system, mine works great, but I'd like an easier photo-editor than Photoshop. Help anyone! All comments very welcome! Tim |

That's the problem from where I sit. It's not easy to keep track of where Picasa dumps the files it choses to save or index! But if it shuffled my main photo data store I'd get really unhappy.... It might be worth dedicating a laptop to it and keeping all the data off it and only importing one file at a time....
Tail wagging the dog syndrome.... Tim |
