Hey wats with google n opera ?? Opera is awesome so is google ....... but google toolbar works in opera ..??

Opera is great even w/o google browser. Anyways, the upper part in it (the bars) is even now too high. With a toolbar.. ehh.. I don't need it.

I am a Macintosh user and enjoy the Google Toolbar in Firefox. I was completely satisfied with the set up until my wife kept raving about the new Opera. I downloaded Opera 9 and I am totally sold on Opera as my main browser. In my opinion Opera as of 9 is the BEST end user browser out there today. Firefox is fast and full of great features but has some catching up to do. At this point Opera is MUCH faster and feature rich. The only thing that would make it even better, for me, would be a Google Toolbar. Hope to see it soon. But even without the Toolbar it is still way worth the download.

...it's not quite up to snuff with the Firefox and IE toolbars. A fellow who's fond of Opera has developed it, and hasn't had time to keep up with everyone's features "wish list".

If you go to Opera's "widget" area and search for it, you'll find the little booger.

Two items I REALLY need, and it doesn't have are: (1) no "favorites/bookmarks" button, and (2) it doesn't dock...it just floats around and seems to "get in the way".

So, to sum it up, look into it, and see whether it has all the buttons you need, and see whether you can live with a non-docking toolbar. And check into its forum for comments.

(Little did I know Opera wouldn't allow an external toolbar at all at all...)
