Problem With Personalized Google and Book Marks
I had a bookmarks section in my Personalized Google home page. Just recently I went to search history and I noticed I could label my book marks. After labeling my bookmarks into their categories, they no longer appeared on my personalized Google page under the bookmarks section. I have no idea how to easily replace them into their section with out reentering each one. I have a lot of of bookmarks, any suggestions?

Is the bookmark section still on the homepage?
If not - then reapply the section to the homepage. If it is there - then your pretty much screwed. The only idea I can think of is that perhaps you have multiple google accounts and you're just signed into the wrong one right now? |

Yes the Bookmarks Tab was still on the Google page, and I have only one account, so it wasn't the wrong one. So I was pretty much screwed into having to spend about 20 minutes copying, pasting and typing the bookmarks back in. Luckily enough all my bookmarks were save in the google search history section so I was easily able to tag back and forth. So here are some questions and suggestions.
Questions- 1. Why were my bookmarks removed from personalized Google page when I went into Google Search History and organized them into labels/categories? 2.Why didn't/can't the Google just import or save the changes that were made in Goolge Search history? Suggestions- You would think these two programs would be compatible- Bookmarks in Google search history should should be able to be exported to personalized google just as easily as they are automatically imported to Google Search History. Also, Personalized Google Book marker should have the option of entering a label. Personalized Google should also offer an import bookmark option so you can display your book marks off your browser. Really, I'm a "noogle" too - I just offered the simple suggestions.
I've never had any problem with my personalized homepage in regards to the bookmarks. Hopefully, it was just a one-time-thing. Good luck. |

Just wanted to follow up this post as it may help others with the same problem.
The reason the bookmarks were disappearing from the "bookmarks" module on your google personalized homepage was because you changed the label from "homepage." Only those bookmarks labeled "homepage" will appear on your homepage. Bookmarks labeled otherwise can be accessed in the bookmarks section in your Google Search History. |

Just keep it organised and add in label "homepage" when you want it to be displayed at Google homepage. |
