世界卫生组织指出，季节性流行感冒病毒已经对药品达菲（Tamiflu）产生抵抗能力，为此，该组织已经加紧进行甲型H1N1流感疫苗的培育工作。　　世界卫生组织全球流感项目专家进藤奈邦子（Nik ki Shindo）昨天在日内瓦的每日记者会上说，墨西哥和美国的甲型H1N1流感病人的住院率比较高，这使得疫苗的培育工作必须加紧进行，因为，我们面对的可能是有抗药能力的病毒。　　进藤奈邦子说：“去年的季节性流感爆发时，病毒产生了抵抗药物奥斯他韦（oseltamivir，达菲的主要成份）的能力。”　　达菲是瑞士罗氏（Roche Holding AG）制药公司的产品，该公司已经决定捐出565万剂的达菲，供世界卫生组织应付甲型H1N1流感；公司也会在未来五个月增加达菲的产量。目前，在疫苗尚未培育成功的情况下，只有达菲和英国葛兰素史克公司生产的瑞乐砂（Relenza）能抗流感。　　进藤指出，虽然甲型H1N1流感的传染力比季节性流感强、症状也比较严重，但多数患者可以通过休息和补充水分康复，所以没有必要用达菲和瑞乐沙。她认为，慎重的做法是将这些药物省下来，用于治疗怀孕妇女、心血管疾病或糖尿病等疾病患者，因为这些人一旦感染甲型H1N1流感病毒，会出现严重的病情。　　从美国与墨西哥的数据来看，感染病毒以致情况严重至需要入院的人占9％至10％。进藤说：“这与季节性流感不同。”　　美国的3009个甲型H1N1流感病人当中，116个需要住院。美国疾病控制与预防中心的科学与公共卫生署代署长舒查特说，孕妇看来特别会因为感染甲型H1N1流感而发病；因此，同季节性流感一样，孕妇需要立刻接受治疗。她认为，美国的病例只是冰山的一角，因为，好些病人没有服药便痊愈，没有取病毒样本供实验室化验，没有列为病例。　　最先传出病例的墨西哥有58个病人死亡，全球的525 1个病例当中，近九成来自墨西哥和美国。但进藤指出，用药用得最多的却是多数只有“入口”病例的欧洲国家。
