Gmail works with Picasa

I have several gmail accounts and this just showed up in one of them in the familiar bold red lettering where they used to have the free invites at in the corner of the page. Is it new?

What's new on Gmail?
Just launched!

An easier way to send up to 10MB of photos
Gmail now works with Picasa, Google's free photo organizer. Use Picasa to easily find, edit and preview your photos. Log in to Gmail directly from Picasa and send the photos from your Gmail account. Picasa even automatically resizes your photos so they're easier to receive and open. Your friends without such large email accounts will thank you. Learn more <---- Source

Not just any old computer. Actually, yes, any old computer!
Basic HTML view lets you access your Gmail messages from almost any computer running almost any web browser, even old ones (not just IE5.5+, Mozilla, and Safari). Especially great for traveling, since you never know what kind of browser that internet café in Siberia is going to have.

i think that such notices are being sent in random. I do not see such notices in my page.

Send a message via MSN to tokkolo
I think that is new, I haven't seen such a message in gmail. I've only seen it on the "about gmail" section.

I should have been more descriptive earlier. This does not arrive in an email, it is 'parked' at the top right corner of your inbox 'New Features', weird really, because it isn't showing up in/on the others.

you were descriptive enough in the first post itself The observation of tokkolo is that the new features have similar and exact content! I think this is a random experiment google is doing!
