Unhappy Picasa for Mac!!!

I've seen this request elsewhere. I know it's not likely to happen...But I want it, anyway, and I'll just be a whiner. Picasa for Mac.

Yep, I know, there's Picasa "upload" for Mac.

Yep, I know, there's "iPhoto".

Just ain't the same!

I've used Picasa on Windows. Picasa just can't be beat for "botting" around folders on the local computer and keeping intelligent track of photos. iPhoto doesn't cut the mustard. "upload" doesn't do it, too.

Whine!

It is supposedly coming sooner or later. A Googler with very loose lips at MacWorld let it slip. You can read about it at TechCrunch.

I'll believe it when I see it...

Google's responsiveness to the Mac community leaves much to be desired

I won't disagree with that at all. But as Mac and Linux are concerned they are doing something and that is a LOT better than most.
