Teachers....
I'm a student. I know there is a lot of fuss over teachers. Like, they suck. OMG THEY ARE SO MEAN! And things like that. But let me ask you something...
When you get a referal to the administrator from a teacher, why does the administrator always belive the teacher? Why not ever the student. I mean, it's so... LAME! |

Well probably because the student is the student. Students generally (at least where I live) aren't very serious about their education, while the teachers just do their job. When the administrator is believing the teacher and not the student, 90% of the time he is backing up the right person. Does it suck? Yes. But it's also understandable (atleast to me).

Teachers are their colleagues. Administrators hired them in the first place, so of course their going to trust them over the student. Also, the student is usually not of age to pass the best judgement, whereas most teachers are grown adults with several years of college behind their belts. This isn't the case all the time, but more often than not. Teachers are paid to do what they do, so most of the time it is the truth.
I wouldn't put up with the fuss of being a teacher for $30,000 a year (average teacher pay where I live). |
