What's up with google and my site?

I have an seo guy working on my site. We have built up links, creating a ton of content pages and a blog and google since this last "mess up" has taken me off their site. They have finally recached most of my pages...but today I noticed my blog went from a PR 5 to a "ZERO". What are they doing to my site?

Well first of all check your site with all the datacenters. And offcourse this PR update has brought a lot of confussions and happened so quick that no one has enough knowledge of what happened suddenly.

And just check your backlinks thorougly.. because had u purchased any high PR links and they might have removed your links etc.

Just a suggestion !

I just checked. Google had taken me from a PR 5 to a ZERO! They suck!

Google don't suck. They do their work in the manner that provides for the best user experience. Stop worrying about pagerank and worry about content. Once people have good content you won't worry about search engine rankings because people doing research on the topic covered by your website will arrive through other websites.

Search engines are a small and important part of the web but they're not the only way to get a site noticed and indexed.

Google seems to bedoing a small PageRank update at the moment, I'm sure once this has been completed in a fewdaysyour site's PR will return back to usual (or higher if your lucky!).

I seem to have a few internal pages with a PR5 and my homepage witha PR4 at the moment so I would have thought the update is still underway.

Google is really messing with my site. I have optimized it. Gotten very good links. Have articles and posts all over the net, and now they are not caching my pages and have completely removed my blog (all 200 plus pages). What is going on? This is ridiculous!brbrAt one point, my site was first page for several keywords, now I'm in oblivian!br

brMaybe you optimized it "too much" and now google considers it to be a spam site,bror you get links from so-called "bad neighbourhood"brbrThats all I can suppose. Would be interested about the real cause. Your case sound horryfying...br
