Meta Tags

I`m putting together a new website.

Just wanted to get some opinions on the meta tags and information.

For each page I will be creating an different meta title but would it be also beneficial to put different information in the description and keywords to help describe the page better?

For the title I would probably go: `domain.com -page infobla bla` keeping the domain name on each page but changing the info part. It`s the description and keywords I`m not so sure about. Obviously I want to make this as bot friendly as possible.

Thanks.

Each page needs to be optimized directly to the content on that page - that will get you ahead of about 90% of all the other sites out there.

Also, you should only use your domain name (if at all) - at the end of your description.

Search engines index more than one page of your site so it is possible that many visitors might enter your site via an internal page. Having the same title and description for all the pages of a site gives a little chance to get traffic to your site for more specific topics. So I think your Title, keywords in meta tags and description should be based upon the the content of that page.
