I would suggest offering an html version of the website as well which will probably please the users more and you can block the search bots from visiting the flash version.

PPYou need an HTML version with all the site content, better split the content in more than one page. You have to include some text in the homepage and one or more links to the HTML pages. Including the text & links at the bottom of the page is not the best for SEO but it will do and your client will be happy with the full-screen flash.
Many surfers will prefer the HTML version of the website. Of course you have also to get your site listed in directories, get good quality text links, etc. But without some content in HTML is very difficult to get good rankings _____________________________BRhttp://www.seo-ranked.info – The beginners guide to Search Engine Optimization and Marketing (SEO & SEM) |

One technique you could use is placing your Flash files within HTML files. By doing this, you will be able to add your META Tag data. You can also add some HTML above the Flash elements to add content to your pages which can effectively be spidered by the engines.

You can also use NOEMBED tag.brYou can write a description about your flash contents and it is picked up by the search engines.brbrCreating a double content in html can be penalized in the future if search engines develop a way to read flash files. brI have seen earlier flash files in SERP's but now they have vanished.br

I think link popularity plays important role for a flash site, for example refer www.godiva.com & www.hersheys.com like site, you will find they are getting enough link from many trusted site that include .gov and .edu as well.

Break the site down into seperate pages so rather then having one big flash animation on one page, have lots of seperate flash animations on diffrerent pages, use text links to interlink pages!
