SEO work is very time consuming

Hello,
I have found that SEO work can be very time consuming considering all the index pages:
index.html
index.htm
index.php
index.asp
index.shtm
index.shtml
keyword_keyword.htm
keyword_keyword.html
and so on and so forth. Then you got the alt codes, title, description, keywords, keyword nesting. I didn't really know how long it would take or how down right borring it would be.. Well I've started on a simple 15 pages.. These 15 pages have multiplied by many many many for each page the above practice is done. I can only envey SEO's for being able to handle all the long hours and pure boardom.

never found SEO boring, at least not at this level - I am not sure that you know what you are talking about ... what do you mean by index.asp, index.php, index.html, etc ... newby to the internet world?

it is quite time consuming...well you can pay sb to do it, which is not boring...

still not quite understand what this means:

Quote:
index.html
index.htm
index.php
index.asp
index.shtm
index.shtml
keyword_keyword.htm
keyword_keyword.html

To better explain my self:
Lets say you were wanting to promote some a product. You wanted that product page to get good rankings and good traffic. There is a few ways you can do this.
Lets make a folder and name this folder shoes.
next step: in this folder create the following pages:
index.html
index.htm
index.php
index.asp
index.shtm
index.shmtl
home.html
home.htm
home.php
home.asp
home.shtm
home.shtml
defaul.html
defaul.htm
defaul.php
defaul.asp
defaul.shtm
defaul.shtml
index2.html
index2.htm
index2.php
index2.asp
index2.shtm
index2.shtml
now creat in this folder for example I'm using reebok shoes. This can be of course any keywords your trying to target.:
reebok_shoes.html
reebok_shoes.htm
reebok_shoes.php
reebok_shoes.asp
reebok_shoes.shtm
reebok_shoes.shtml
Now lets say you want to target another product related to shoes.
convers_shoes.html
convers_shoes.htm
convers_shoes.php
convers_shoes.asp
convers_shoes.shtm
convers_shoes.shtml

Now that we have created the above pages. Now its time to insert your product and meta tags into the html page and keyword nest it. Only use keywords that will target that page.
Example for index pages:
<title>shoes</title>
<meta name="description" content="Mary's retail shoes and shoes shop">
<meta name="keywords" content="shoes,retail shoes,shoes shop">
Now that we have created the index pages and have created the meta tags and have keyword nested the page now its time to do the same with our keyword_keyword pages.
Example for this with our keyword pages being reebok_shoes:
<title>Reebok Shoes</title>
<meta name="description" content="Reebok Shoes">
<meta name="keywords" content="reebok shoes,reebok,reebok shoe">

Next you want to make sure that every one of your pages are linking to a new index page so that your links will make a large linking circle.

The urls would look like this:
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index.html
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index.htm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index.php
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index.asp
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index.shtm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index.shmtl
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/home.html
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/home.htm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/home.php
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/home.asp
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/home.shtm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/home.shtml
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/defaul.html
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/defaul.htm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/defaul.php
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/defaul.asp
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/defaul.shtm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/defaul.shtml
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index2.html
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index2.htm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index2.php
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index2.asp
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index2.shtm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/index2.shtml
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/reebok_shoes.html
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/reebok_shoes.htm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/reebok_shoes.php
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/reebok_shoes.asp
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/reebok_shoes.shtm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/reebok_shoes.shtml
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/convers_shoes.html
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/convers_shoes.htm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/convers_shoes.php
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/convers_shoes.asp
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/convers_shoes.shtm
http://yourdomain.com/shoes/convers_shoes.shtml

Galide I didn't apprieciate your comment and or sarcasm or immaturity and inexperience in web marketing, or optimization. Your comments were down right rude and non-professional.

wefancyu, I hope this gives you a better understanding of what I was trying to point out with the index pages and keyword pages.

I don't see much benefit to having so much duplicate content. Does that actually improve your SE ranking?

woooow! it's REALY time-consuming, even if it does help, i don't think i have time to do it...but good thought, i'd try to build a site with free hosting to test this theory...

Mr. "Guest", but do you think repeat content would get penalty from google??

Sorry. I didn't want to sound rude. It was a genuine comment :

A good SEO doesn't waste time on this kind of things. If you want to test a theory, it must be easy to produce & reproduce.

you can actually run your test quickly : you don't need to "create" physically pages: use url rewrite to serve a script with the extension as a parameter - you then pull all your content from the local database.

But I would not do that on your main website. You take the risk to be flagged for duplication.

Never found it boring....
