Can Google see images for my site if hosted on different server?

To save bandwidth I moved all my images from my server to photobucket. The html and text comes from my paid server and the images come in from pb. In an image search will my images appear "in" my website or will google treat my images as if they're on photobucket only? I've added alt tags to all the images and meta tags to each page, but I'm starting to suspect that google doesn't see the images since I moved them from my server.

Nopes, they will not appear as images from your site, they will appear as images from photobucket, but when the user clicks on the image, your page will indeed open.

If you really want them to show up on your site then it is best to host them on the same domain. However I have seen images hosted elsewhere but still listed under site:yourwebsitegoeshere.example
