Question naming incoming links?

Hi, Thank you for reading.

This is just a quick question that i hope one of you will be able to help me with.
I just want to know if our incoming link text is working with our keywords in the best possible way?

I run a web and graphic design company.
When we build a website we add our signiture to the bottom of the site. Signiture that we use is:
design and created by spires1
<a href="http://www.spires1.com">web and graphic design</a>

The main keywords that we use are 'web deisgn' 'graphic design' 'internet marketing' 'advertising'.
Does this mean our signiture link text should be 'web deisgn, graphic design, internet marketing, advertising' or does it make no difference being 'web and graphic design'?

Does any one know of a better solution?

Thanks for your help.

its better to use your major keyword... you mention those keyword and I've noticed that all of that got high search result in some SEs... and its quite hard to compete using those keywords...

Thanks for the reply.

I typed in web design in to a keyword selector tool, it comes up with a very high number, but web design company is a lot less, does that mean web design company would be better to use?

284324 web design
9674 web design company

Once again, thanks for any help.

yes thats fine.. for easy rankings.. you can also use unique keywords..
choose for about 15 to 20 keywords.. 5 major and 10 to 15 minor keywords.. your 5 major keywords are your targeted keywords..

its hard to compete those keywords with high search result.. you can start by mixing high keywords with less search result keywords...
Thanks... good luck..

OK, thanks

One more quick question.
If i'm allowed 15-20 keywords, how do these fit into the title?
I was under the impression that google always read the title of the page first, then if the keyword was in the title it would then read the rest of the page.

e.g
If I type in web companies in to google, and my website does not have web companies in the title, then my website will not appear in the search.

Or can you have: web design, internet companies
would google read 'web' from the first keyword and 'companies' from the second keyword?

Thanks for all your help.

put some of your keywords in the content of your page.. but avoid keyword stuffing.. and include it also in your meta tags.. it also can help partially... choose your major keyword as your title, example.. this is your title
<title>Web Design || Spires.com</title> and the rest put on your content and meta tags... content is very important... in promoting your site you can also use your keyword as you title link...or the title itself...

Using your targeted keyword as anchor text can help your site ranking.

Very Well Said.... As an Additional,If you are uncomfortable with the partially distribution of your 15 keywords, You may put your 5 targeted keywords in your title in any and possible ways. Then put some into your descriptions.

Titles have a big influence on your rankings...in every page of your site try to create unique titles with your targeted keywords and those titles should be related to that page...and with linking with other sites, try to put your targeted keywords on as your anchor text...try to change your anchor text when improving your link popularity (directories, forums, blogs, articles, social bookmarking sites, etc) to target more of your keywords but be sure that your avoid keyword stuffing...
