Yahoo is pretty good at the crawling side so long as they have sufficient link popularity to get all their pages indexed. While google measures the link equity of the page rank and the more of it you had the better you would get indexed.

They have a lot of difference in terms of ranking a page and they have different algorithm. Yes, Yahoo is based on the contents of the page and Google based on quality and relevant backlinks....
