This is it : Now he own and manage a forum site (like this), and he want to convert it to be a site with 'articles/ other contents' instead of only a forum site (monetize?), and he ask your guidance on how to make it and where he can have a good contents/ articles sources. do you mean the content of the site?

make contents that are also optimized, it must contain your keywords but be careful in including your keywords because it might look spammy

- do keywords research and write related articles to your topic,

- study your competitors and try to copy what they do or you should work more hard than them to get best rang.
