Post Page Title Optimization

Hello,

There are several ways on how to optimize the Page Title for better search results. As far as I know, these are the most common ways of presenting titles:

1) keyword keyword keyword | Company/Site Name
2) Company/Site Name - keyword keyword keyword
3) Company/Site name | keyword keyword keyword

I have read many articles on the web that the 1) method brings 18% better results, because it has "keywords" coming FIRST.

And I'm just wondering if any of you have tried one or another way and which one was most efficient?

Thanks,

Yes, you may be right, but in this case it's not important what's going to be in "keyword" field, it's the "site name" field that's going first or last?
Some argue that it does not matter, some say "site name" should be last....
I always used the 2 method, I might try the 1st now on a new web site...

Are you 100% sure about 60 chars?
I thought for Google, it's 63 characters?!??
3 Characters sometimes can play a big role !!!

And more....if you have a string where 1 word between 60-65 (67max) chars, Google should accept it.
I mean,
Site Title - keyword, keyword, keyword {60chars}, keyword{67chars}
The last keyword should be fine although it starts from 60 to 67 !

Do you agree?

Well, I think when you are competing with over 400.000.000 web sites, every letter is important!
