What is the difference between Directory submission and social book marking ? What is the advantages of submitting a site to social book marking ? |

directory submission(site) is where your site is being add its just like yellow/white directory while bookmarking(single page) is just add particular page that related to the category you wanted to post.

its a bit different
The way SEO work is going on now a days. If you add your site name to the directories then you will get more backlilnk and that will help you to get higher page ranks. And the more you do social bookmarking , the more you are presenting your site to the public.

Directory submission is where you can add your site for its category while social bookmarkings is adding up your favorite sites or bookmarked your sites you want to share to everyone on the community....both help for backlinks but social bookmarking sites used no follow attributes...

Directory submission is when you submit your site to a specific category where it belongs to while... Social bookmarking is "bookmarking" your favorite sites that can be seen by the people under the same community |
