Hi,

What is website splash page ? what is the disadvantages if in the website?

a splash page of a web site is a sort of pre-home page front page.. well i think this can help to attract visitor to browse the page...

Yep, it's like Intro, usually made with Flash.
Google skips all dynamic contents, so if you plan to put your keywords in flash animation, don't bother.

it's an old practise in web design, when people used to do a first page totally different from the rest of the site, at some point it was simply a flash animation with a SKIP BUTTON, to get to the real site.

the bad thing was for search engines, the first page wasn't optimised for search engines.
another bad thing was that when the webmaster didn't used cookies, the splash page was always displayed to a visitor, it was boring.
now people don't do it like that, the splash page is most often a welcome page with all menus ready to please.

too bad for you if you can't understand my explanation about splash pages.

dynamic content is some text that changes, is not the same every day, every week. It's content which comes from a database or from an external source.
