Can you explain more about writing an article? Is this just a summary of a site and where would I place it? Thanks I'm a little confused still.

Article writing is one of a main and effective source of IBL. The best topic to start with is about your company's services. For example, if your company offers SEO service, you may create an article regarding the importance of link exchange or about keyword research. Be sure to create the article by your self and be unique. After you create your article, look for article submission sites (you can find lots of sites that accepts article by searching in google using the keyword "article submission").

In your article, you are allowed to place a link pointing to your site as well as other details such as your name (if you wish to include your full name, much better) etc. So, once your article has been submitted and approved, of course, you already have one IBL for your site. The benefit now is here, if you wrote the article by your self and if it's unique and very appealing to the readers, they will eventually notice your articles links and eager to know more of other works of yours. They will eventually use your article, probably in their websites as content (remember, your article carries a link for your site!). The same process goes on and on for your one article creating valuable IBLs for your site, that is, if your article is well written.

Good luck!

Not being sarcastic. I just couldn't believe I had to ask after I read your reply. Thanks for the details. I'm a total noob at this.
