The PR update has occurs last week so i have noticed some of the sites go down i mean PR is down for the sites so did any body conclude what is the reason for PR down is any change in Google PR algo....

maybe it because they quite a while they optimized their site or they missed up to update their site.

it might be because they lost some of their backlinks...

It's because of the Google page rank update. Some of this links have lost their major backlinks, the reason why their PR went down.

Updates always has 2 results... PR up, or PR down.... lucky you if you got it up!

one of the reasons for PR down is to have backlinks from sites that are not related to your site such as you have a site for car but the back link is from a kids website. The relevancy between the both site needs to be there.

Yes, the web site have lost some back links, that's the major reason I guess.

I have 2 new web sites got PR 1->2 with 40 back links.
1 web site PR 4->3, because they've changed site structure and some BLs gone.
1 web site PR did not changed.
1 web site PR 5->4, don't know why yet...I'll find, I'll tell ya....

As you see, PR is not so easy to crack down

Yes, Google PR really affects the previous PR of the site when they updated them...And Google PR now has new algorithm that's what I'm experiencing...

Yes, I agree with most of the people here. If you read the very definition of google's PR, it is all about links. Links pointing to your site are like votes. The more you have, the higher the PR you get in the next update. But don't forget the relevancy of the links, link farms are strongly discourage in link building campaign...

there are many factors to consider. also, keep in mind that in SEO nothing is constant that why you have to continuously optimized your site
