Hi Friends,

I like to know which one is search engine and which one is directories

Google - Search engine or directories ?
Yahoo - Search engine or directories ?
Msn - Search engine or directories ?
Aol - Search engine or directories ?
Ask - Search engine or directories ?

Please answer me ...................

huh? i believe its thats all Search engine... and i guess some of it has directory like yahoo....

Why dot tell us what yuo are looking for ,that way we might be able to help you. And yes they all are the both.

all were search engines... and they do have directories also..

Hi Friends,

I know all this are search engine as well as directories. But the fact last week i've attended the interview , they asked what is yahoo? I told its a search engine and also it has directories, the interviewer told me yahoo is a directories.......... how????????????????

Eeh if Yahoo is directories how come it is not a search engine hehehe .... I know that Yahoo is really a search engine.
