More back links low PR

Hi friends,

Recently i've compared with the two sites , site A has more back links then site B but the rank is low as compare to site B. Back links are more but the rank is low how????????????????????????????

I hope google giving PR based on the backlinks , Is ther any other choices for google giving PR ????????????????

Answer me plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i think its not all about backlink anymore...

backlinks alone can't give you PR.. you also have to update your site and add some fresh contents...

10 Backlinks from Quality site with high PR are more important than
100 backlinks from low quality and unrelated site.
