Display URLs in Organic Google
I am wondering if it is possible to determine how your URL listings are displayed in Organic Google.
For example, it would be nice to have clean coherent listings of various pages on your site in the SERPs when a user searches on a keyword you are listed for. Often, linked phrases or incomplete sentences appear linked. It is not always ideal. For an example, do a simple search in Google on 'walmart' or 'panera bread' - the listings displayed at the top of the SERPs are good - nice and coherent. Other businesses seem to have these jagged, cut-off URLs. A cursory look tells me that it is possible this content it programmatically determined by Google and not based on controllable things like meta tags. If not, though, I thought would pose the question here to see if anyone new if this was a 'controllable' thing? |
