if that so that'll be good, learn to analyze things first before you get panic, with regards to your site just continue what your doing as long as you know that you are on the right track.

Thanks but the problem solved itself shortly afterwards. The whole thing was a scam. The email looked very real but it wasn't from Google and none of my sites got removed from the index.
