thank u so much for the information. after i showed this reply of urs to my friend, he said its a kind of milestone i have made, i mean regarding the topic. we were really confused. but then, isnt it true that many sites use php sitemap instead of xml? so, if search engines donot support the format, it means they will not follow the sitemap(in php) too. right?

and yeah, if we create an xml sitemap, then obviously its not user friendly. so, how can i make it user friendly? using xsl? thou then i need to turn my copies to do those xsl stuffs. or is there things like php file outputting valid xml(i got this info from another forum)? and does it work in that way?

There are 2 types of sitemaps.
1 - is what you show to your visitors (html or php).
2 - is what you show to sers (always xml).
You are trying to combine both into one as I understand in a very strange way.

There is a simple way, create:
1. a php XML parser that would read nr.2 xml file and convert it into user friendly look (html) or use xslt if you want.
2. keep xml for sers always in xml.

I can not see another way around for your idea.

stuffing keywords in title tag is an unethical way of SEO technique.

thanks sheena for reminding me about the "unethical" stuff. but the problem with seo job is that the clients donot understand this. all they want is good ranking and that too quick...by hook or crook..huh!!!!

good morning alex!! its morning over here

what do u prefer using in links? absolute or relative links(../../)? by using relative links, i got a lot of page not found(404) errors. actually i was not the content manager. may be if properly organised, this error wouldnt come. but since there was lot of such. i as a staff at seo, had to convert all those links to absolute one. so will it have a problem later? except that if a folder name is changed, every links should be modified? also, i cant seem to start a new topic here...i mean new thread

hoping to get help from alex..else no one bothers

hi everyone,
we have a site, which we recently updated. so, there is a vast change within the site regarding links and content. i then submitted the url and verified in google. then, i found out lot of errorsage not found(404). so, i guess its because the google is trying to find the old pages. am i right? so how can i make google understand that everything has changed and dont search for older files? or how long will it take for everything to come to normal? cos of this reason, when i search for pages in google search engine, they are not shown at all

Relative links can make Search Bots go into INFINITE LOOP.
I created a search bot simulator and tried it on relative links, so basically what I got is something like this:
homepage/index/../../../../../.................... and script died after that

You can't start a thread? Strange, maybe ask admins what the heck....
Also, ask about logo, I have no idea, I'm not a mod here

Luck
