Will google punish my site for this?

Im running a forum which uses flash to navigate, i know its not wise but there is a reason for it. However i know this kills SEO so what i have done is put a conditional for bots, if it is a bot, text links at displayed at the top to allow the bot to navigate.

Since this is only displaying this content to bots it seems it is against google TOS, however on the other hand it is only to aid navigation not display extra content.

How would google take this do you think? Thanks for any help you can give,

James

Yes you will get banned for this, the answer is to put another menu across the bottom of the screen, which is clear and not hidden, it may look a bit messey but if done right it should just blend in.
Also you should be using a sitemap xml to tell robots what pages are on your site.
Also a sitemap reference should also be in the robots.txt file aswell i.e.

SITEMAP: (then the full domain address followed by file name)(root directory only)

This should be on the first line above everything else.

Hope this helps

Your a tough guy hiding your text, but I advice you not to do that even for a reason do some alternative that will help you not to hide those text but can solve your reason. Don't make google banned your site.
