Pls advise me which software to choose for link exchange management.

hi everyone!!!
our client wants us to use a link exchange mgmt software for his site. actually, what he wants here is that he wants the software to check the requests from other sites for link exchange and lets us check whether or not to accept the link exchange. and if we accept the link exchange, it constantly checks whether the other site has our link and it automatically deletes the links from our site, incase the other site has deleted our link. what are ur opinions?? is it worth a software. our client insists such s/w.

usually i do it manually... checking and updating link partners is not that hard to maintain... its not hard monitor, unless it looks like a directory..

I have seen some sites using that kind of method.. I think its on the program IMO. But for me, ill do it manually.. Its better to link exchange manually, you can see and choose weather the site is relevant and related to your site or not..

I've used a software named IBP9.0 but it only automatically detects whether your link is live to your link partners sites but can't auto delete the links in your site when they remove your link to their site... that's what i do manually...

we use linksmanager.com with great success. it provides full editorial control and saves us a bunch of time. I would highly recommend it.

Pls advise whether the link exchange mgmt software i found for free is safe.

i found a free link exchange mgmt software. the link to it is LinkMachine - Complete SEO Reciprocal Link Exchange Software, Search Engine Optimization Tool. it lets u download link exchange mgmt software, free. it asks us to either install automatically or manually. when we choose automatically, it asks for ftp address, username and p/w. so, since it is not safe, i am thinking about doing it manually, ie first downloading the s/w and installing. but considering the providing of s/w free and asking for such sensitive data, i am really in dilemma, whether or not to opt for it....so, pls advise..thanks

I think it is more ideal to do it manually...It's not that hard plus you can check your links and you have the control over it
