SERP dropped from GOOGLE

Till August 13, 2007, I did have a decent SERP in Google, but the next morning all of the sites disappeared from the top places. No where in the top 20..or even top 40. Even the blog results disappeared overnight. What could be the reason?

That was the issue when Google Webmaster tool reported that the site has been crawled on Aug8. But today when i checked out the same, the last crawled date was on Aug13. Interestingly from Aug13th onwards, I'm facing this problem.

Last week may be on Aug6th or so ... I've changed the images in my site something like from kaspersky.jpg to kaspersky-internet-security-suite-graphic.jpg .

Is this anything to do with the fall of SERP? Except this change i've nothing added or deleted.

Please help me in this regard.

Algorithm of SEs are constantly changing so don't stop there even you are ranking in SERPs don't rely on it... Just SEO continuously...

I've been experiencing the same thing...some of my keywords are already on top 1 and right now, it's not even on the top 100!!

as long as your not doing wrong in your site,, your ranks will come up again... probably it is dancing... but if it is out after a month,, check if your site is being attacked...

Had a look at your 2 sites,
The software site has way to many hyperlinks on the page and this is prob the reason for the drop as every time the Algorithm's change they try to combat spammers and your site prob now falls into this category.

As for the Adwords site then thats an affilate site and we all know Google hates this.

I didn't get you. I agree that my site does contain affiliate links. Actually it is a review site. Could you be more elaborate?

OK, i'll have a go.
Google is not to keen on affiliate website as to many people used the idea for spamming, click the link below for Googles own answer to this.

I hear you say "thats Adwords", but if thats the policy when your paying them, then think what the policy is for the organic search results with their algorithm.

As for the software & downloads site, the page has the following problems:

1. The only text is where it say's "Welcome. This is a web" and so on in the middle of the screen.
2. The rest of the page is full of hyperlinks (which is a spammers trick)
3. All images have alt tags (a bit over doing it)
4. All links have title tags, over doing it because the tags are the same as the link anchor which is a no-no
5. Text to code ratio is very low compared to page size.
6. You have links to casino's which is a no-no for good scoring
7. You have links to medicine which is a grey area with Google

This is just my personal view based on doing the job for years.

hello innominds!!!
i have been experiencing the same since more than a week now. and still the problem hasnt been solved.
actually my site has been in 20+ rank. month before it went to 700+ rank and a few days later came to the same 20+ rank. and now it is in the omitted result.
and i cant figure out the exact reason behind. actually, the site has been changed recently, seo has been done recently and on top of that, the site has a mirror site too. i am doubting may be of the mirror site, i am facing this.... but ofcourse, how can i tell u the exact reason!

The site has nothing to do with casino or medicine...It's just a digital downloads review site.
