i think its more of a trial and error process as long as you didn't get your projected traffic and revenue, still you will do everything and anything to make it possible

Seo is definitely a continuous process, you need a proper maintenance in order to maintain on top...and a continuous learning plus fresh ideas to promote site...

Thanks for the tips, to shorten the info, SEO is about SERPs, and traffic from organic searches.
