I shut my forum down for a day to change servers, got dropped from Google and MSN

Will Google automatically restore my forum to its propper place in SERP's or do I have to re-apply to be in the Google index again?

I have a V-bulletin modification which automatically updates Google everyday. I accidentally left it on while I shut my forum down and was changing servers. I had no idea that I would be dropped from Google and MSN. The forum was up and running again in 24 hours and is running now.

its because google spiders can't find your site, thats why you lost your rankings...just continue link building... I'm not really sure if you can get your old rankings.. competitors might take advantage when your site is down.

Well all the backlinks to my site are still out there. I assume that Google is just not seeing them for some reason.

just wait till google crawl and indexed your site... and wait for google backlink update...

probably on the day you shut down your forum is the day that crawlers visited your site and didn't found anything... im sure it'll be on track again by the time you put it back live....
