better submit your site manually to avoid risk..
you have all the control in manual submission

for me... doing an automatic submission is placing your url site everywhere in the web directories... what if you're always doing automatic submission and you're site is always submitted to the the same site, it may consider as spam isn't?

Agree, it can hurt your site if you use it directly... You can also use them but do it manually...

example: just get the directory lists and submit your site manually.

There 's a risk in automatic submission coz you'll never know the status of the site you're submitting to unless you check it manually (or by some tools)
