^_~ anyway, when i say its one good source in terms of SEO, I am referring to their marketing process similarities- both SEO and SMO are one way to attract people right? without pushing a message on them, but showing them what the value of your site that can bring to them.. like for instance, you are in a social networking site particularly facebook.. you join one group, and that group discusses about the value of friendship, to add more reliable info and for the betterment of that group, you put on some link there pointing to your site which is actually giving counseling.. something like that.. in that way, Both SEO and SMO are being applied.

How would you use facebook as a marketing tool though? If you made toys how would you use it to gain more traffic?? There is also another feature for adding apps to there app directory. I cant see how the app would push more traffic through if the company was a online games company with a direct link from the app to there site.

I'm guessing if you push RSS feeds through the facebook page that would work, but its got to be interesting enough for the person viewing it to want to click through.
