Query on sudden dropping of rankings in google

Hi friends,

I have an query that ABC.com site is ranking in good positions in last month and all the keywords are grastically dropped suddenly not for all keywords.....suppose out of 11 five are dropped like this n went to 40-600 position?????????can any one give the suggestions and explainations that why the rankings are dropped??????????

Could be a lot of reasons, foremost of which is that it could happen if you changed the content, title tags or any other seo-worthy element of the page which has dropped.

It could also be a temporary drop, so wait for a couple of weeks and then hit the panic button.

This kind of issue normally happens. You are not the only one who've experienced this kind of Ranking Loss. A change in algorithm is one of the major factors to consider. I suggest you to continuously optimize your site and build more back links from quality related sites...

Don't be surprise when you have sudden changes at your rank becuase Google always update the site and sometimes Google dancing occurs. SEO is a continues process so don't stop in optimizing your site.

it was normal and it happens every time google updates. don't be complaisant with your status, just continue the SEO process. learn new SEO techniques and practice it.

That's natural for Google updates and changes or I should say refreshes....

I think till now Google still dancing my keyword is not permanent at the top ten damn.

I think your right, when do you think will this stop? I'm confused with some of my keyword rankings but hoping this will not last that long!

I have found that if you adjust meta tags and update internal links on your home page you will encounter this phenomenon. First instinct is to panic, but be patient. Google will adjust and you will probably bounce right back in a few months.
