Social Networking Sites!?!

Hi people,

I've heard that backlinks from social networking sites such as facebook, myspace, youtube etc help page rankings.

Is this true and is it wearth while spending time doing so!

ok let's say it's a part in helping page rankings

but still you should focus to other link building stuffs

Some bookmarking sites doesn't give backlinks because of the nofollow attribute. But it could give you traffic instead.

There are only few social networking sites with "do follow" links....
Most of them are using "no follow", but Social Networking sites are good source of traffic...
Especially if you know how to use them properly...

social networking sites are a good source of traffic but it depends most of them are no follow, better choose the good social sites.

as far as i know it helps in traffic but not that much in rankings.

backlinks depends on the structure of the site (either it's do-follow or no-follow) so it's much better if you'll choose the sites that 'follows' your links..

BTW you can get a lot of traffic from those sites but it depends on your content - esp. the title..

But it depends on the content that you will post in a certain social network because some social networks (they don't want to have some adverts to posted in their site, they just want infos) will be labeling you as a spammer...

One key to produce traffic from Social Networking site is to submit/create interesting or informative stories/articles/videos on social networking sites...
Most people pay attention on this kinds of stuffs...
