Number of Indexed Pages Dropping

Hi,

As a relatively inexperienced webmaster (using Dreamweaver), my website was indexed quickly and with the help of Google Webmaster Tools I successfully submitted a xml sitemap.

When my website reached 112 pages (back in about December 07) I had 78 pages indexed. Now, however, with 158 pages I've noticed that the number of pages indexed is dropping. In the last few days it has gone down to 52, then 48 and today it is just 36 URLs indexed.

Each time I add new pages (.htm) I create and upload a new sitemap and resubmit. No errors are reported. I don't believe I am doing anything differently to before so am at a loss to understand why my numbers are dropping.

Any ideas? My thanks in advance.

just continue link building... this can help to crawl and index your site regularly...

May be due to Google Dance..not sure though!!

I haven't experienced this kind of problem yet...
Are you sure that their is no error when your submitting your sitemap???
