Increasing Link Popularity - will this work?

I have a Gift site with a PR3 in Google - I have another domain which I have recently set up as a gift links directory - I presume it will help me if I create lots of links to my PR3 gift site? Is this correct?

you mean your going to create lots of link from your directory to your main site? i don't think its going to help that much...

If the links are coming from one domain only, even if there are 100 links back to your main site, I think that would just count as 1 link.
