Page cached but rankings fluctuation

I have been checking my search ranking for a particular page and phrase - each day I have checked and the page has the same cached date each time I check it (i.e. 25th March) but the ranking is different each day.

I could understand this if the page had been updated and a new cache of that page - but how can the results fluctuate if it is the same cached page.

Your help would be greatly appreciated....

There are three major factors to get search engine rankings -
1. Content
2. Backlinks
3. Relevancy

So, to have better and stable search engine rankings, check these three constraints @ your site.

I've just realised why my position fluctuates slightly even though it is the same cached page - it's because other my competitors cached pages may have changed and either pushed me up or down slightly in the rankings!

Hi,

if your site been cached regularly, it's good, but no relation of catch with ranking, even some times your ranking can be down because many more sites are also in ranking queue for same keywords. as i am also facing problem for my site optimization services provider

So, don't worry for same problem, just keep working on directory submission and banner marketing.
