Is it worth re-working my site at the risk of loosing my page rank and SEO work?

Hi Guys!

I am currently doing a re-design of my site using a new CMS system that I have found.

It has some really cool features that I really want to impliment.

However, because of the way the new system works, it means changing the physical names of all my pages, and therefor I am worried that I will loose my pagerank, and loose my google listings that I have worked for a long time to build up...

I would like some advice on whether or not this would have a negative effect on my site, and if you think it is worth doing...

For your reference, my site is;;
www.shareowrld.co.uk

and the site I am redesigning to is:
SW test - Shareworld - Your guide to the Stock Market

-obviously if I go live with the new site, I will put it in the root of my server, so it will become shareworld.co.uk, however the page names are still different because everything is in php.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Dave

it's worth it if you think that this is for the benefit of users. your rankings may suffer for a while but come next month or so you'll be back in track again.

Anyway if you have a good reason why you have to undergo redesign go for it, I think that's for the good of your site too...Don't worry to your current PR because if that redesign purpose is to make your site much better you will get good PR soon...
