Content and SEO

Hi,

I run a furniture directory which has pages such as office desks, office chairs, office storage etc about 48 categories.

What ive decided to do is create a news page. On the news page it will have articles on say the latest ergonomic chair and how it is enviromently friendly etc.

The title tag for that article page will correspond to the title of the article:
latest ergonomic chair and how it is enviromently friendly

This is the part im a little confused with, inside the content do i need to use the words ergonomic chair to help push the page in google under the search ergonomic chair?!?!

Basically how do i use a news section to push my site!?!

Well as much as possible, you need to put your targeted keywords in your content. That does help in your rankings for that specific term.

Its all about placing your targeted keywords all throught your website content. For that your site needs SEO Copyrighting service..so do you have one?

I say you place related articles that are updated of course in your news section. You could either make the articles or get them from resources.

Placing your targeted KWs in your content helps a lot...
but make sure using those KWs in the content has make sense...
Not just putting them for spider that would be spam...
But putting them for some purpose that will make the content understand much better...

I agree with the above posts. You must also use your keywords in your content. Not only keywords in anchor text can help your site but also in content.

Yup, it is better to put your target keywords on the content of your site and regarding on how you will promote your site, just create articles that tacles about your target keyword and create blogs for it!
