Hello, Every SEO has their strengths and weaknesses. You wont find these factors until you hire them and find out for yourself. Just because one seo worked for your friend or another company, doesn't mean that same seo company can perform the same for you.

I came across a company called iMajestic. They have a performance based package which states that there is no setup fees, and you dont pay anything until you rank in the top for the major search engines. I'm sure your site has to qualify for such a campaign but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call and see for yourself.

To me the best SEO is one that can perform. No matter how much they talk, actions are louder then words. Search Engine Optimization is a ever changing industry. With so many SEO companies out there its hard for one to choose a legitimate, professional SEO company that can actually produce results. Also laying in the shadows are scam and fraudulent SEO companies. Though these companies may be easy for people like us to spot, its the uneducated SEO prospects that get burned.

I agree with you, in a way. However there are certain things which qualify an SEO as being one of the best and providing results is one of them.

Of course if your filthy rich you can hire individuals that are at the top of their game and run an in-house SEO which would be the best. Having a dedicated team of professionals is the only way you can say you have the best SEO.
